2000s

​The 2000s was a watershed moment for the transgender community in Ontario. The delisting shook them to the core. It was unheard of for a procedure to be relisted under OHIP after it was delisted from coverage. Relisting transition related surgery was going to be an uphill battle, and everyone knew it.
